The Goddess Mere

Lady of the deep blue,
Medusa hair,
sigils etched into her skin.
Child of the sea,
guardian of creative feminine.

Break a woman,
and be broken,
cursed to spend eternity
crawling belly to the ground.

Worship her.

Fear her,
body devouring lovers,
shield for a virgin heart.

~Nara Malone

  3. Nara, I loved this! And there's something about blue - it's all encompassing...I get the idea if you respect her, you're definitely okay. :)

  8. Glad someone's on the side of womankind. Sadly, I know a few men who should be belly crawlers!

  10. Have to echo Teresa--I really do love this--lots of power in the feminine, some life-giving, some protective, some dark, as all life comes from death--really one of my favorites of yours, Nara.

  11. Reminds me a lot of Shiva in the Final Fantasy games.
